FOOD SAFETY

India witnessing wave of 'acche din' as GDP has increased by 4.5 times , per capita income by 3 times and food production is doubled. But, hunger is still the darkest shade.
India is producing sufficient food to provide a sustainable life to it's population but can't provide access food to many
Food production has increased on the other hand food is not secured .Sometimes carelessly store food  rotten up  or  as big bungle  is hoarded i.e food security is must.
the latest Food and Agricultural organization report  estimates 190.7  million people are undernourished in India.
Lack of having sufficient food a day results malnutrition among children , 44% of children under the age of 5 are undernourished and many die each year.
Although production is increased but  most importantly measures must be taken to secure the food produced.
People are dieing  from starvation but we the common people don't even think twice before throwing food when we are full.Government has taken important measures but implementing them is a big challenge .
India acquire second place in the list of  country with most undernourished people.
India is a home to a quarter of undernourishe
